You’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving the performance of plastic blow moulding equipment and robotic packaging automation systems. This is a hands-on role with scope for development and involvement in continuous improvement initiatives.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and attend to mechanical breakdowns</li><li>Work independently and collaboratively to support production goals</li><li>Use MEX Work Orders to scope, execute, and close out maintenance tasks</li><li>Partner with Electrical Trades personnel when required</li><li>Support production teams to ensure smooth operations</li><li>Contribute to safety, quality, and productivity improvements</li><li>Assist with spare parts inventory management</li><li>Apply fault-finding and diagnostic skills to resolve mechanical issues</li><li>Maintain a strong safety-first mindset in all tasks</li><li>Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor to improve machine availability</li></ul><ul><li>Maximise labour efficiency and promote safe working practices</li></ul>About YouTo succeed in this role, you’ll bring:<ul><li>Trade qualification as a Fitter or equivalent</li><li>Experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment</li><li>Strong understanding of preventative maintenance strategies</li><li>Hydraulic and pneumatic systems experience</li><li>Excellent communication and teamwork skills</li><li>A proactive attitude and commitment to safety</li></ul>Ready to Apply?If you’re looking for a stable role with variety, challenge, and the chance to make a real impact, we’d love to hear from you.
