AECOM is searching for an Inspector for municipal infrastructure projects.  This is a full-time position based in Winnipeg, MB. Projects primarily consist of road reconstructions, land development, water distribution, sanitary and storm sewers, and water resources/stormwater management.  The successful candidate will be assigned to a project based on their skillset and area of expertise.  Project assignments can be in and out of the Winnipeg Region.The responsibilities include but are not limited to:<ul><li>Liaison on site with contractor, client, other approving authorities, including addressing resident concerns</li><li>Oversee daily on-site operations</li><li>Work closely with the Project Engineer and Project Manager, to ensure construction is in compliance with project specifications</li><li>Preparation and maintenance of daily work logs and other project documentation and reporting;</li><li>Schedule and conduct regular project meetings with the contractor and client</li><li>Provide clarification of drawings and direction to the contractor, with remote support from the Project Engineer</li><li>Responsible for monitoring conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties.</li><li>Carry out surveys and measurements for quantity calculations</li><li>Complete surveys for the preparation of record drawings</li><li>Participates in punch lists, testing, and commissioning.</li><li>Assist with the preparation of the Project Construction Completion and Final Acceptance Certificate; and</li><li>Training of entry-level employees.</li></ul>
