We make it, store it, move it, sell it, and mend it. Our Electrical Engineering Summer Internship SchemeCentrica is the UK’s largest integrated energy company and, therefore, has a diverse portfolio of assets that offer you a chance to gain critical experience in a broad range of engineering activities. Engineers are at the heart of developing, operating, upgrading and decommissioning all of Centrica’s asset portfolio, including the largest gas store in the UK, offshore and onshore gas production assets, and Net Zero projects including solar, battery and hydrogen technologies. Our Summer Placement Scheme will immerse you in the engineering behind these assets, supporting dynamic teams in both technical and project functions.  During your internship, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to projects in areas such as gas processing, electricity generation, and energy storage. From day one, you’ll be part of a collaborative team environment, where your input is valued and there’s plenty to get involved in. The experience will require initiative, curiosity, and a proactive approach - and in return, you’ll gain valuable insight into the energy sector and how your skills can make a real impact.At Centrica, we believe face-to-face collaboration is key to making the most of your internship.
