You will own program execution from concept through production, coordinating across hardware engineering, validation, supply chain, and operations. This role is about making sure our hardware — from circuit boards and flex assemblies to enclosures, connectors, and integrated box builds — is designed for reliability, tested thoroughly, and built to scale. Responsibilities <ul><li style="font-size:12pt;">Drive end-to-end hardware program execution (requirements → design → validation → NPI → ramp) </li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Lead cross-functional teams spanning mechanical, electrical, firmware, industrial design, test, and manufacturing engineering</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Plan and manage prototype and production builds, including materials, logistics, and factory readiness </li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Oversee board and flex releases, system integration, and validation testing (DVT/PVT/MP builds) </li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Partner with suppliers and contract manufacturers to drive DFM/DFT reviews, yield improvement, and issue resolution </li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Maintain clear build plans, risk registers, and program dashboards; proactively manage schedule and resource risks </li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Serve as the primary interface between Redwood engineering teams and external manufacturing partners </li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Provide transparent updates to stakeholders and leadership, highlighting status, risks, and key decisions </li></ul>Desired Qualifications <ul><li style="font-size:12pt;">Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline (advanced degree a plus) </li><li style="font-size:12pt;">5+ years of experience in hardware program management, hardware engineering, or manufacturing operations </li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Proven success driving NPI builds and scaling hardware programs to volume production </li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Strong understanding of box-level assemblies (PCBs, flex circuits, harnessing, enclosures, thermal systems) </li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills; proven ability to thrive in high-ambiguity environments </li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Willingness to travel to Redwood’s sites, suppliers, and contract manufacturers as needed </li></ul>Physical Requirements:<ul><li style="font-size:12pt;">Ability to safely perform job duties in both office and production environments.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Must maintain regular and punctual attendance in alignment with company and regulatory standards.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Must be able to communicate clearly.</li></ul>Working Conditions:<ul><li style="font-size:12pt;">Willing to travel to Reno, NV as needed and for onboarding (if Bay Area based)</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Work schedule may vary depending on site operational needs, and flexibility is required </li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Split work environment between office and the production facility.
