The position is on Lucid’s low-voltage HW development team. This position requires an experienced professional with an extensive background in high reliability electronics designed for high volume production. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields and possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:<br></strong><br>- Demonstrated ability to lead an electronics system from concept thru prototyping / electrical validation / design validation / in-system test and continued support in sustaining phase. </p><p>- Specify, design and develop automotive electronic hardware for various vehicle functions such as access control, motor drivers, body control, network gateways, low voltage redundant power delivery.</p><p>- Create rigorous testing and validation plans to fully support technology transitions from R&amp;D concepts through to production.</p><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p><p>- 2+ years of experience in high reliability electronics designed for high volume production.</p><p>- Ability to perform board design, prototype build, bring-up, functional verification, DVT, PVT and manufacturing support.</p><p>- Excellent EE fundamentals. </p><p>- Automotive-grade product design experience.</p><p>- Ability to perform system design including analog and digital circuits, DC/DC, microprocessors as well as industry bleeding edge technologies for future EVs.</p><p>- Perform board design, prototype build, bring-up, functional verification, DVT, PVT and manufacturing support.</p><p>- Power circuits, processors, networking sub-circuit development skills are required.</p><p>- System architecture experience and building embedded electronic systems ranging from micro controllers to high-end processors.</p><p>- Industry experience in automotive electronics development process for mass volume production design, with focus on DFx (test &amp; manufacturing), EMC compliance.</p><p>- Bachelor's degree is required in a technical field. <br><br><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><p>- Understanding of industry processes applicable to safety critical automotive systems (ISO 26262), DFMEAs, FMEDAs, PPAP.</p><p>- High-speed network hardware design.</p><p>- Low voltage high current power delivery.</p><p>- Cabled high speed interfaces (automotive ethernet, GMSL, etc.), LED drivers, automotive processors, SOC processor boards.</p><p>- Master's degree or higher education is preferred. </p><div> </div><div>At Lucid, we don’t just welcome diversity - we celebrate it!
