We are looking for a highly capable and detail-oriented Senior Manager, Finance to support the Senior Director of Finance in managing the financial health and operational effectiveness of our organization. You will play a critical role in financial reporting, planning, and process improvement, while managing a team of finance professionals. This role requires strong technical finance skills, team leadership, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, international environment.<h3>Responsibilities</h3>Financial Planning &amp; Analysis<ul><li>Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes in collaboration with department heads.</li><li>Business partner to the COO</li><li>Deliver timely and insightful financial analysis to support decision-making across the business.</li><li>Monitor financial performance against plans and provide variance analysis with actionable insights.</li></ul>Financial Reporting &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Dutch GAAP / IFRS.</li><li>Ensure accurate and timely reporting to internal stakeholders and external parties.</li><li>Assist with statutory audits, tax filings, and compliance with local financial regulations.</li></ul>Operational Finance<ul><li>Manage day-to-day financial operations including general ledger, payroll support, and cash management.</li><li>Drive continuous improvement of financial processes, controls, and systems.</li><li>Collaborate with other departments to support business efficiency and financial discipline.</li></ul>Team Leadership<ul><li>Manage and develop a team of finance and accounting professionals.</li><li>Set team objectives, ensure strong performance, and foster a collaborative working environment.</li><li>Provide training and mentorship to junior staff members.</li></ul>Systems &amp; Process Optimization<ul><li>Support the implementation and optimization of financial systems (e.g., ERP upgrades, AI enablement and other solutions).</li><li>Identify and lead initiatives to improve reporting, automation, and accuracy</li></ul><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).</li><li>Professional qualification (RA, CPA, ACCA, CMA, or similar) is a strong plus.</li><li>7+ years of relevant finance experience, including 3+ years in a supervisory or management role.</li><li>Solid understanding of Dutch GAAP and IFRS; experience in multinational or mid-sized companies preferred.</li><li>Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP); strong Excel and data analysis skills.</li><li>Fluent in English; Dutch proficiency is a plus.</li></ul> Preferred Attributes<ul><li>Analytical thinker with excellent attention to detail.</li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills.</li><li>Comfortable working in a dynamic and international environment.</li><li>Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under deadlines.</li><li>A proactive mindset with a focus on process improvement and efficiency.</li></ul>
