AECOM is seeking a skilled and driven Civil Engineer  to join our Buildings and Places Division in Atlanta, Georgia, specializing in fueling system infrastructure. This position is ideal for professionals with 2+ years of experience who are ready to take on increased responsibility in the design, coordination, and delivery of complex fuel system projects, including but not limited to facilities for the receipt, storage, transfer, and distribution of aviation jet fuel, diesel fuel, ethanol, and motor gasoline. The responsibility of this position includes, but are not limited to:<ul><li>Play a key role in the design of civil components for fueling infrastructure projects, including aviation jet fuel, diesel, ethanol, and motor gasoline systems</li><li>Prepare site layouts, grading plans, stormwater management systems, and utility designs</li><li>Perform advanced engineering calculations and analyses using industry-standard software (e.g., Civil 3D, HydroCAD, StormCAD)</li><li>Review and approve technical drawings, plans, and specifications; mentor junior engineers in drafting and design standards</li><li>Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget</li><li>Manage and organize project components, including specifications, construction drawings, design analyses, and documentation</li><li>Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and regulatory standards</li><li>Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and client deliverables</li><li>Stay current with industry codes, standards, and best practices; contribute to internal knowledge sharing and innovation</li><li>Support proposal development and business development efforts as needed</li></ul>
