In general, tasks involve cleaning the manufacturing work area, prepping containers, formulating, and packaging product. The Chemical Operator will always demonstrate professional appearance, behavior, and attitude while performing his/her job duties. WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON<ul><li>Prepare product containers (bottles, drums, totes, etc.) for filling referencing all appropriate specs and work orders. </li><li>Formulate and batch products according to customer specifications.</li><li>Fill container with product following clean room procedures and product requirements.</li><li>Document plant processes and record production data.</li><li>Monitor the production process and ensures efficiency of systems and equipment.   </li><li>Train uncertified Chemical Operators according to procedures.</li><li>Prepare product for shipment.</li><li>Use correct tool/ergonomics when handling or moving any raw materials, chemicals, components, equipment or finished goods.</li><li>Stock product and packaging supplies.</li><li>Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a safe clean work environment utilizing 5s standards.</li><li>Perform necessary tasks and work hours needed to accomplish departmental and company goals.   </li><li>Uphold all MLI policies and “MLI Code of Conduct.”</li><li>Strict compliance with Environmental and Safety regulations.</li><li>Compliance and individual accountability with the MLI Quality System and ISO Registration is required.  It is the employee’s commitment to ensure that the Company’s actual practices and procedures are exercised as directed.</li><li>Uphold the Manufacturing Attendance Policy.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned to support and sustain a high performing team.</li></ul>Disclaimer: Please note that while these duties are integral to your role, the percentage of time you may spend performing these tasks could vary depending on the nature of your work and operational requirements. When working in the presence of safety hazards, the employee is expected to follow company safety rules and use proper personal protective equipment such as: hardhat, safety glasses and full leather shoes, etc. Employees will work in a covered Process Safety Management (PSM) environment containing threshold quantities of flammable liquids and/or gasses that have a potential for fire or explosion. Employees working in this environment are required to be free from devices that are not considered intrinsically safe. Examples of devices that may not be intrinsically safe include Insulin Pumps, Pacemakers, Pain Management devices, etc.Qualifications
