What you will do The primary purpose of this position is to communicate with different customers to process orders and assist with their queries regarding our products and services. Representatives also deal with customer concerns and communicate suitable solutions.How you will do it<ul><li>Processes customer orders which may include, but is not limited to: receiving, entering, verifying, and acknowledging orders, preparing credits and weekly order status, assisting in expediting orders, maintaining order files, and investigating order related issues.</li><li>Monitors order status and takes actions to ensure plant is meeting customer delivery requirements and commitments.</li><li>Operates all existing customer systems including, but not limited to: order processing, credits, and customer concerns.</li><li>Maintains direct contact with both internal and external customers regarding orders</li></ul>What we look for<ul><li>High school diploma, or general education diploma from an accredited institution, is required. Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.</li><li>Minimum 2+ years customer service experience in a manufacturing environment is required</li><li>Strong computer skills and basic working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.</li><li>Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to consistently deliver excellent customer service to both external and internal customers.</li><li>Strong communication skills including the ability to work collaboratively with external and internal customer</li></ul>What we do hereOur St. Joseph, Missouri distribution center charges, packages, and ships the batteries used in cars, boats, motorcycles, and heavy-duty trucks. We opened in 2000, now employ more than 280 people and operate six days per week.
