What You Will Do<ul><li>Support the standardization of MSA and SPC programs across multiple manufacturing plants.</li><li>Assess, document, and improve measurement and statistical analysis systems to align with AIAG (Automotive Industry Action Group) standards.</li><li>Develop and update documentation for MSA and SPC procedures.</li><li>Collaborate with plant teams to understand current practices and conduct interviews/data collection.</li><li>Identify gaps between current practices and AIAG requirements and propose solutions to close compliance gaps.</li></ul>How You Will Do It<ul><li>Engage directly with cross-functional teams in real-world manufacturing environments.</li><li>Conduct interviews and gather data from plant quality and engineering teams.</li><li>Analyze existing documentation and processes, comparing them to AIAG standards.</li><li>Get hands on experience in the shop floor by executing test methods for standardization.</li><li>Document findings and recommendations and help implement process improvements.</li><li>Present results and progress to engineering, quality, and operations leadership.</li></ul>What We Look For<ul><li>Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university.</li><li>Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Business Administration, or related field.</li><li>Strong analytical and documentation skills; familiarity with statistical tools.</li><li>Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.</li><li>Curious, detail-oriented, and passionate about process optimization and quality assurance.</li><li>Prior internship or project experience in manufacturing or quality preferred.</li><li>Microsoft Excel and Minitab experience is strongly preferred.</li><li>Ability to be in the greater Milwaukee area in the summer.</li><li>Duration: Summer 2026. Up to 40 hours per week.
