The successful candidate will implement, govern, and oversee a CAP that focuses on continuous improvement, identifying non-conformities, assisting with cause investigations using a graded approach based on the consequences and significance of the event, tracking appropriate corrective actions when planned results are not met, validating that corrective/preventive actions are effective, and assuring that deficiencies and associated corrections are communicated appropriately.   In addition, this position will also aid department leadership for all CCP procedures.  This position coordinates and facilitates the reviews, updates, and revisions for all CCP procedures.  This includes the annual review of most procedures and the potential cancellation of redundant or unused procedures.Responsibilities <ul><li>Oversight of the Corrective Action Program by assessing gaps and implementing improvement plans </li><li>Matrix oversight for all CCP groups in all jurisdictions.  </li><li>Continuous development and maintenance of the strategic focus for the CAP.</li><li>Establish measures to ensure that failures, malfunctions, deficiencies, deviations, defective components, and non-conformances are properly identified, reported &amp; corrected.</li><li>Development, implementation and tracking of key metrics to measure the health of the program </li><li>Collaboration with select team members for the integration of fleet beneficial operation excellence initiatives and actions.</li><li>Development of reports to identify undesirable conditions to analyze and identify trends in quality performance and communication of those trends to management  </li><li>Development, implementation, and maintenance for all CCP procedures and job aids.</li><li>Works with CCP Training to ensure CCP procedures include appropriate training and minimize conflicts between procedures and field conditions</li></ul>Basic/ Required Qualifications <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Technical Business Administration, mathematics, statistics, business, information technology, communications, technical degree, or other related degree</li><li>3 years related work experience</li><li>In lieu of bachelor’s degree(s) AND 3 year(s) related work experience listed above, High School/GED AND 7 year(s) related work experience</li></ul>Desired Qualifications <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering</li><li>In addition to desired degree, 5 years’ related work experience</li><li>Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with various management levels</li><li>Demonstrated ability to lead implementation of Corrective Action program elements</li><li>Working knowledge of software applications such as Microsoft Office products</li><li>Familiar with RRE or CCP work processes</li><li>Proficient in project management theories and principles</li><li>Experience in plant operations, maintenance or work management </li></ul><h2>Additional Preferred Qualifications</h2><ul><li>Experience in the utility industry.</li><li>Behavioral Competencies: - Innovating Change - Collaborating and working with others - Problem Solving / Decision Making - Delivering Results</li><li>Ability to deal with a variety of individuals from various socio-economic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds.  </li><li>Demonstrated leadership within Duke Energy.</li></ul><h2>Working Conditions</h2><ul><li>Hybrid Mobility Classification – Work will be performed from both remote and onsite locations after the onboarding period.
