Your primary role will be to connect with inbound consumer prospects from both the US and Canada who have asked for contact via phone, text, chat, virtual meetings, and email to qualify them for a proposal from local installers. You will act as a trusted resource who can answer questions, communicate benefits, assess needs, and provide recommendations. The SDR will showcase our renewable energy offerings in a compelling way. </p><p><br><br></p><p><span style="font-weight:bold;">Responsibilities and Duties</span></p><ul><li>Interview and determine each prospect’s needs through conversation</li><li>Educate potential buyers on the unique benefits our renewable energy products can provide</li><li>Become a trusted resource and develop relationships with prospects, local dealers, and our Territory Managers</li><li>Successfully manage and overcome common objections</li><li>Update lead statuses and prospect interaction in Salesforce to ensure efficient lead management</li><li>Provide closed-loop feedback to ensure continuous process optimization and enhance lead generation programs</li><li>Ability to evaluate the progress and status of the Consumer Prospect and determine optimal hand off to Dealers</li><li>Work in a high-energy collaborative environment between consumers, sales, and marketing team environments</li><li>Some light travel required – Up to 5% of time</li></ul><p><br><br></p><p><span style="font-weight:bold;">Qualifications</span></p><ul><li>Because this role serves both the Canadian and U.S. markets, fluency in French and English is required. You must be able to communicate clearly and professionally in both languages across phone, email, and SMS.</li><li>Clear and persuasive with excellent communication skills – both verbal and written</li><li>A true self-starter who is driven to succeed</li><li>An aptitude for learning and ability to quickly become a subject matter expert</li><li>A team-player with the ability to maintain a positive attitude despite challenges or rejection</li><li>A people person who wants to help others solve their challenges</li><li>Comfortable with new technologies and tools</li><li>Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills</li><li>Comfortable performing against metrics/goals</li><li>Sales training a plus (Sandler Methodology preferred)</li><li>Experience in Inside Sales, with an SDR team, or customer support preferred</li><li>Experience with geothermal heat pumps (sales, marketing, tech support, customer service) and /or HVAC a big plus</li><li>Salesforce CRM experience a plus</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or communications (or equivalent experience)</li></ul></div></div>
