The team’s key priority areas include:<ul> <li>Project Management Trainings: Developing and deploying training sessions to enhance staff skills and ensure effective project execution.</li> <li>Development of Tools, Templates, and Resources: Creating and refining resources to streamline project management processes for staff.</li> <li>Building a Community of Practice: Fostering collaboration and continuous learning through events and knowledge sharing, strengthening project management practices across WWF.</li> <li>Consultation to the Organization: Providing tailored project management support and consultation to teams, helping them apply best practices to their specific projects.</li></ul>The team works to build a strong project management culture, promoting improvement, collaboration, and learning from each other across the organization. Position SummaryAs a Project Support Team Intern, you will play an integral role in supporting the Project Support Team's mission of enhancing project management practices across WWF-US. This post-graduate level internship is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in project management while assisting with high-impact organizational initiatives. You will work closely with the Project Management Lead to assist in the execution of priority projects and activities related to project management training, tool development, community building, and consultation. Location:Washington, DC, preferred, but remote will be considered. WWF employs interns in all states with the exception of: Hawaii, Idaho, Kentucky, Nevada, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, and Wyoming.Compensation:$24.00 per hour for post graduate students (20 hours per week). *Please note that WWF does not provide VISA sponsorship to interns. This includes preparing training materials, tracking participation, and gathering feedback.</li> <li>Contribute to Tool and Template Development: Research and refine existing project management tools, templates, and resources to ensure alignment with current best practices, incorporating feedback from users.</li> <li>Assist with Building a Community of Practice: Help organize events such as speaker series, lunch and learns, and workshops to promote knowledge sharing and project management best practices. This includes event logistics, drafting communications, and facilitating small group discussions.</li> <li>Provide Project Management Consultation Support: Assist in answering staff questions related to Monday.com and project management frameworks.
