As a Parts preparation &amp; Refurbishment engineer you are the person which our service organization can rely on to prepare parts and produce assemblies, used by our service engineers worldwide to maintain and repair our sorters in our office in Leuven.Together with the quality team you are also the person who checks, repairs and follows up on returned parts, this as well internally as towards our suppliers. And at the same time, you work together with the R&amp;D department to improve designs or create test systems.Daily presence in the office in Leuven is required.Key tasks:<ul><li>(Pre-)Programming of Electronics boards / industrial PCs / Electronic devices in general</li><li>Building together assemblies which are used by our service engineers in the field worldwide</li><li>Being the interface between our service organization and the supplier for repairs</li><li>You develop test jigs and tools with the help of R&amp;D to make troubleshooting and programming possible and easier </li><li>You are part of the global RMA process where parts can be shipped from other hubs for repair</li><li>You are a partner for R&amp;D to validate new designs and propose changes</li><li>Assist in building Prototypes</li><li>As production engineer you are working with all technical and logistic teams in the company</li></ul>
