Watch “<a href="https://youtu.be/BtjIN9oHRMY?si=ONfWJ-vFlLZckjrE">Culture is our Passion</a>” to learn more about us.<h3></h3>We are looking for someone who demonstrates:<ul><li>Passionate drive to innovate and create </li><li>Integrity to the core</li><li>Enthusiastic customer focus</li><li>Consistent interactive teamwork </li><li>Desire for continuous improvement and top performance </li></ul>Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:<ul><li>Providing comprehensive technical support to Nextracker's global customers, addressing a wide range of industrialization, mechanical, electrical, quality, communication, and installation issues.</li><li>Ensuring an exceptional customer experience by leveraging your product and systems expertise to optimize customer production value.</li><li>Developing a deep understanding of the mechanical, structural, and electrical components of the system.</li><li>Evaluating mechanical and electrical issues encountered in the field to identify the root cause.</li><li>Proactively identifying potential risks and failures associated with mechanical and electrical components, and taking appropriate steps, including implementing corrective actions.</li><li>Collaborating with field personnel to troubleshoot problems and program new components.</li><li>Conducting testing and deployment of Nextracker technology, providing on-site training to customers and partner companies.</li><li>Working closely with cross-functional teams to recommend modifications to work instructions, materials, or product changes to ensure the superior quality of our products.</li><li>Demonstrating strong written communication skills in preparing reports, service proposals, and procedure manuals.</li><li>Serving as a member of the Remote Monitoring Team, offering guidance on field repairs, and meticulously documenting all issues.</li><li>Resolving problems by clarifying issues, researching answers, exploring alternative solutions, implementing effective resolutions, and escalating unresolved problems as needed.</li><li>Advocating for the voice of the customer when collaborating with internal teams on product-related improvements.</li><li>Developing proficiency in the Nextracker’s Case Management System and actively supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the customer experience.</li><li>Delivering regular progress updates to management and customers, based on well- founded recommendations supported by data, evidence, and sound judgment.</li><li>Providing support to Nextracker's system design, product development, sales, and marketing efforts as requested.</li><li>Willingness to travel to customer sites when necessary to address specific requirements.</li><li>Able to carry a $2000 balance at a time on personal debit/credit card for travel expenses (Reimbursable)</li><li>Be a current resident of Australia.</li></ul>Here is some of what you’ll need (required)<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or equivalent) or Information Technology, and/or equivalent experience working on industrial control systems (minimum 10+ years’ experience) required.</li><li>Strong knowledge and experience with Ethernet networks and IP enabled devices.</li><li>Experience with remote access and VPN technologies.</li><li>Strong knowledge of wireless technologies.</li><li>Knowledge of Cybersecurity best practices.</li><li>Customer Service Experience (Minimum 1 year)</li><li>Strong Troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Proficient in the use of standard business systems (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.)</li><li>Good interpersonal/customer management service skills.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Strong self-starter with ability to work both independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Proficient in the safe use of hand tools (Laser levels, torque wrenches, grease guns,</li><li>Battery drills, air compressors etc.)</li><li>A good understanding of Australian WHS regulations, especially regarding the construction industry.</li><li>Knowledge of industry standard safe systems of work and experience with use of JSA and SWMS documents.</li></ul>Here are a few of our preferred experiences<ul><li>Electrical/Instrumentation qualification &amp; experience.</li><li>IP Networking</li><li>Communication protocol experience with Modbus, OPC-UA and SSH, FTP, SFTP, SCP.</li><li>Linux operating system experience.</li><li>Automation scripting/programming experience (E.g Powershell, Python, VBA, Bash, Perl)</li><li>Passion for solar or renewable energy.</li><li>Strong knowledge of PV technology and its applications.</li><li>Hands-on experience with photovoltaic tracking solar systems.</li><li>Proficiency with Salesforce Service Cloud</li><li>Customer service experience and qualifications.</li><li>Previous experience with Solar Tracking systems.</li></ul>WHS &amp;
