This Analyst will be responsible for conducting comprehensive environmental impact assessments of materials and products from across the Consumer Goods industries. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in LCA modeling software and databases (LCA For Experts, ecoinvent, etc.) and familiarity with the Higg Index tools. This role requires an ability to get into the details and think at scale. We operate as a fact-paced, dynamic, and fully remote team.<h2>What You'll Do</h2><ul style=""><li>Conduct detailed life cycle assessments for products, materials, and processes. This will include modeling materials and processes found in the academic literature as well as engaging with companies that submit data through the MSI Contributor program.</li><li>Develop recommendations and methodologies for how the data we collect can be extended to service additional customer use cases around data interoperability.</li><li>Interpret LCA results to identify environmental hotspots and opportunities for improvement, including uncertainty analysis.</li><li>Stay current with evolving LCA methodologies, standards (ISO 14040/14044), and industry best practices.</li></ul><h2>We'd Like to See</h2><ul style=""><li>Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability, or related field (Master's preferred)</li><li>Minimum 3-5 years of experience conducting life cycle assessments with demonstrated experience conducting LCAs for apparel, textiles, or consumer goods.</li><li>Demonstrated proficiency with LCA modeling software (LCA For Experts preferred)</li><li>Strong understanding of Greenhouse Gas Protocol, ISO 14040/14044 standards, and LCA methodology</li><li>Experience translating academic research findings into practical modeling approaches</li><li>Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy</li></ul><h2>It Helps If You Have</h2><ul style=""><li>Familiarity with the Higg Index</li><li>Knowledge of textile production processes, supply chains, and associated environmental impacts</li><li>Experience developing environmental product declarations (EPDs)</li><li>Experience with additional LCA software tools and databases (e.g., ecoinvent)</li><li>Knowledge of programming and automation tools to streamline LCA processes (e.g., Python, R)</li><li>Advanced expertise in uncertainty and sensitivity analysis in LCA studies</li></ul><h2>What We Can Offer You</h2><ul style=""><li>Comprehensive benefits offerings. 90% employee premium and 75% spouse/dependent premium covered by Worldly.</li><li>Company-sponsored 401k with up to 4% match.</li><li>Incentive Stock Options</li><li>100% Parental Paid Leave</li><li>Unlimited PTO</li><li>13 company holidays</li></ul><h2>Life at Worldly</h2>Our team is motivated to transform the way products are made.
