Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled FAB Expert – HVAC Engineer to lead Dry Clean room design efforts for semiconductor fabrication (FAB) facilities. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in semiconductor manufacturing processes, IS0 14644, industrial drying and Laminar flow systems. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving innovative solutions for process efficiency and cost optimization.Responsibilities:Process Design &amp; Optimization:<ul><li>Develop clean room HVAC system process and design basis.</li><li>Develop optimum system configuration for cooling / heating/ humidification and De-humification.</li></ul>Equipment &amp; Technology Integration:<ul><li>Assess and recommend equipment like Dry-cooling, dehumidification and desiccant dryers.</li><li>Collaborate with vendors for equipment selection, installation, and validation.</li></ul>Compliance &amp; Standards:<ul><li>Ensure adherence to industry regulations (SEMI, ISO, OSHA, ASHRAE, NFPA, NBC-2016 etc.).</li><li>Work with regulatory bodies and internal teams to meet safety and environmental requirements.</li></ul>Collaboration &amp; Coordination:<ul><li>Work closely with architects, MEP engineers, and facility planners for efficient utility layout designs.</li><li>Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to align process requirements with project goals.</li><li>Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support training initiatives.</li></ul>Project Documentation:<ul><li>Understanding requirements for clean rooms</li><li>Cooling / heating load estimations with Psychrometric analysis of process.</li><li>Design basis report</li><li>SLDs, I/O summery and Control logics</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience in greenfield and brownfield FAB design.</li><li>Familiarity with sustainability practices in semiconductor manufacturing.</li><li>Understanding of local authority regulations for FAB facility approvals and permitting</li></ul>
