This is a permanent position which is located in Vaasa, Finland with hybrid remote work possibilities. In the role of Accountant, Invoicing you will be involved with customer invoicing, especially providing centralized spare parts invoicing activities. We offer you an opportunity to work in a small team of experts with diverse expertise in customer invoicing having a broad global network consisting of process stakeholders in different businesses and global functions as well enormous learning possibilities. In this role your main responsibilities are: <ul><li>Creating and distributing invoices to internal and external customers globally</li><li>Monitoring customer invoicing related RPA processes</li><li>Maintaining customer invoicing tools and system configurations</li><li>Ensuring high-quality, harmonious and compliant processes by following legal requirements and Corporation guidelines and other process requirements</li><li>Identifying, investigating, and determining root causes related to invoicing bottlenecks and ensuring corrective actions and efficient communication between the process stakeholders</li><li>Assisting internal stakeholders in questions related to customer invoicing</li><li>Period end activities related to customer invoicing</li><li>Participating in development projects in customer invoicing area</li><li>Participating in continuous process and tool development by giving active input  </li></ul>Requirements: <ul><li>Financial education – M.Sc or B.Sc</li><li>Knowledge and understanding in Financial Accounting and Order-to-Cash process</li><li>Excellent communication, cooperation and customer service skills</li><li>Systematic and organized way of working, paying attention to details</li><li>Analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Advanced skills in English, Finnish and Swedish are considered an advantage</li><li>IT skills (e.g. MS Office tools)  </li></ul>An ideal candidate will have also: <ul><li>Pro-active thinking, interest in process optimization, flexibility; being self-going, fast learner, good team-player</li><li>Knowledge and experience in FICO, SD, PS and CS modules in SAP</li><li>Knowledge and experience in RPA, AI, Analytics</li><li>Knowledge and experience in customer invoicing and invoice distribution processes in Wärtsilä</li><li>Experience of working in shared services environment is an advantage  </li></ul>Contact and next steps: Submit your application before the deadline of 17.10.2025 through our Careers portal.
