The Quality Inspector will be responsible for conducting quality control and assurance checks, managing quality processes, performing inspections, and utilizing analytical skills to ensure product integrity. Essential Functions:<ul><li>Interpreting technical drawings and specifications to ensure piece parts and products meet drawing requirements</li></ul><ul><li>Utilizing work instructions to collect data, Complete inspection reports, history logs, rejection reports and associated paperwork</li></ul><ul><li>Receiving, In-process &amp; Final inspections for compliance to drawing/ requirements.</li><li>Must have good eye-hand coordination/dexterity to assemble small parts (plug relays into equipment for testing).</li><li>Must be able to work with small parts, work well with a microscope and be able to use hand tools (tweezers, pin vise) and equipment as instructed.</li><li>Must have good oral and written communications skills to keep Lead/Supervisor informed of progress or issues, and for documentation.</li></ul> Basic Qualifications:<ul><li>Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Must have basic computer skills to make daily data entries.</li></ul> Preferred Additional Skills:<ul><li>Intermediate understanding of GD&amp;T. </li><li>Proficiency in using precision measurement tools. </li><li>Experience in inspection or testing of electrical, electromechanical or mechanical product.</li><li>Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes and materials.</li><li>Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. </li><li>Completing first article inspections (FAIs) per AS9102.</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. </li><li>Strong problem-solving and ability to create manual approaches to measuring.</li><li>Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.</li></ul>In our efforts to maintain a safe and drug-free workplace, Teledyne Relays requires that candidates complete a satisfactory background check and pass a drug screen prior to employment.Due to the type of work at the facility and certain access restrictions, successful applicants must be a "US Person" (US Citizens, US Nationals, lawful permanent residents, asylees or refugees).Pay: $24/hr - $28/hr  Salary Range: $42,800.00-$57,100.000Pay TransparencyThe anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
