The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and a passion for solving complex data challenges in support of client-facing and operational goals.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Team Leadership &amp; Resource Management</li><li>Supervise and mentor GIS staff, delegating tasks across concurrent projects.</li><li>Manage workload distribution and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.</li><li>Workflow Documentation &amp; Integration</li><li>Design and document data workflows between GIS, BIM (e.g., Revit, Civil 3D), and asset management systems (e.g., Maximo, Cityworks).</li><li>Ensure data interoperability and traceability across platforms.</li><li>Schema Management &amp; Data Governance</li><li>Maintain and update GIS data schemas tailored to various client requirements.</li><li>Enforce data standards, validation rules, and version control protocols.</li><li>Cityworks Configuration &amp; Support</li><li>Understand and support Cityworks configurations, including service request workflows, asset hierarchies, and spatial integrations.</li><li>Collaborate with asset management teams to align GIS data with operational needs.</li><li>Client Engagement &amp; Facilitation</li><li>Lead client-facing workshops and discovery sessions with cross-functional groups including IT, engineering, planning, and operations.</li><li>Translate technical concepts into actionable strategies for stakeholders.</li><li>Data Development Strategy</li><li>Evaluate and implement the right balance between automated data processing (e.g., ETL tools, scripts) and manual editing.</li><li>Optimize data development workflows for efficiency and accuracy.</li><li>Provides technical and management leadership for a discipline or area of responsibility. </li><li>Makes decisions and recommendations that are recognized as authoritative. </li><li>Initiates and maintains extensive contacts with senior-level managers within the company and with key officials of other organizations and companies, and is skilled in persuasion and negotiation of critical issues. </li><li>At this level, individuals will have demonstrated creativity, foresight, and mature technical judgment in anticipating and solving both routine and unusual structure/design problems, determining program objectives and requirements, organizing programs and projects, and developing standards and guides for diverse activities. </li><li>Supervision received is essentially administrative with assignments given in terms of broad general objectives and limits.</li></ul>
