And today, Endera ranks #99 on Forbes Top 500 list of America's Best Startup Employer! We will continue to innovate and do our part to preserve the environment by creating vehicles to reduce carbon emissions. General Responsibilities:<ul style="margin-bottom:13px;"><li style="margin-left:8px;">Lead all procurement and purchasing operations across Endera Motors manufacturing facility.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Develop and execute strategic sourcing and supplier management strategies to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Drive material forecasting and demand planning that align with production schedules and sales forecasts.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Analyze market trends, commodity pricing, and supplier performance to identify cost-saving and process improvement opportunities.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Manage and mentor a team of buyers and supply chain specialists, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and excellence.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Oversee vendor negotiations, contracts, and cost modeling to ensure competitive pricing and sustainable partnerships.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and report on procurement performance, including lead time, cost savings, and supplier reliability.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Partner with engineering and quality teams to vet new suppliers and materials in support of product improvements.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Collaborate with Finance to support budgeting, cost analysis, and working capital optimization.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Implement procurement best practices and ERP (INFOR) enhancements to streamline purchasing workflows and reporting.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;margin-bottom:13px;">Support executive leadership in developing the long-term supply chain strategy to align with Endera’s growth and electrification roadmap.</li></ul>Qualifications Educational Qualifications <ul><li>A bachelor’s degree in purchasing &amp; supply chain management, procurement, logistics, or a related field is a prerequisite.</li><li>(CIP) <a href="https://www.cips.org/">Chartered Institute of Purchasing</a> and Supply American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) or the Institute for Supply Management (ISM) preferred</li><li>Knowledge of office applications is a mandatory requirement.</li></ul> Experience Requirements<ul style="margin-bottom:13px;"><li>A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a similar role is often a requirement – preferably within the automotive, EV, or transportation industry.</li><li>Proven experience in interaction with different distributors/ suppliers is a requirement.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Demonstrated success in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiation, and cost control.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Experience leading teams in a manufacturing or production environment with an emphasis on high-mix, low-volume assembly.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Strong analytical skills and proficiency with ERP/MRP systems, procurement software, and Excel-based cost modeling.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;margin-bottom:13px;">Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to build trust with suppliers and internal teams alike.</li></ul>Working Conditions and Environment: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions) <ul><li>Long and varied hours required occasionally.</li><li>Office environment consistent with typical office environment.</li></ul>Physical Demands: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions) <ul><li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk and hear.
