The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be a self-starter who can act with minimal direction.Key ResponsibilitiesThe Co-op Project Coordinator will support Project and Change Managers in planning, executing, and closing projects, with a strong emphasis on maintaining clear and consistent information flow.<ul><li>Proactive Task Management: Independently manage and prioritize a dynamic workload, identifying next steps and taking initiative to move tasks forward with minimal instruction.</li><li>Project Administration: Assist with the creation, maintenance, and distribution of project documentation, including project charters, status reports and risk/issue logs.</li><li>Scheduling &amp; Tracking: Help monitor project timelines, track progress against milestones, and proactively follow up with team members on outstanding tasks.</li><li>Stakeholder Communication: Draft and edit project-related communications (emails, presentations, newsletters) for various audiences, from technical teams to senior leadership.</li><li>Meeting Management: Schedule project meetings, prepare detailed agendas, and accurately document action items, decisions, and outcomes, ensuring timely distribution.</li><li>Financial Support: Assist with basic budget tracking, expense reconciliation, and processing invoices.</li><li>Data Management: Organize and manage project files on Google Drive or Google Sites to ensure all team members have access to the latest information.</li></ul><h2>Essential Skills</h2><ul><li>Currently enrolled in a post-secondary co-op program in Project Management, Change Management, Business Administration or a related field</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex information for non-technical audiences.</li><li>Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and collaboration tools (e.g., Google Meet, Teams) preferred.</li><li>Demonstrated knowledge of basic project management principles (PMBOK® Guide knowledge is an asset).</li><li>Familiarity with process improvement or change management concepts (e.g., Lean, Agile) is a strong asset.</li><li>Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.</li><li>Self-Driven: Proven ability to operate effectively with minimal day-to-day oversight, demonstrate initiative, and independently pursue solutions and information.</li><li>Adaptability: Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain composure and accuracy in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.</li></ul>Communication &amp; Interpersonal Skills<ul><li>Active Listening: Ability to absorb, interpret, and accurately summarize information from meetings and stakeholder conversations.</li><li>Drafting &amp; Editing: Skill in writing professional, clear, and concise emails and reports.</li><li>Presentation Skills: Comfort in compiling and delivering information during internal team meetings.</li><li>Conflict Resolution: A professional and proactive approach to managing communication challenges and escalating issues appropriately.</li></ul>#GreenforLife #LI-Hybrid  We thank you for your interest.
