RMA Technician The RMA Technician will work closely with the engineering team to triage and identify root causes of all Lunar field-returned parts. They will also categorize returns in Lunar’s root cause database, an extremely important part of Lunar’s internal analytics process. We’re a fast-growing, global company building the world’s best clean energy products to electrify all homes and connect communities to form clean, resilient virtual power plants.On a given day at Lunar, you’ll likely…Triage &amp; Teardown <ul><li>Follow standard procedure from engineering to look at failure data and perform non-destructive Root Cause Analysis on returned Lunar products</li><li>Use tools such as DMMs, oscilloscopes, thermal cameras…etc to perform diagnostic procedures </li><li>Maintain root cause database information with input from the Engineering team, propose modifications and help document on the ground observations. </li><li>Create custom test stations to facilitate quick triaging and root cause analysis for various Lunar subsystems</li><li>Work with Lunar Failure Analysis team if further destructive analysis is needed </li></ul>Handling &amp; Inventory Management<ul><li>Help manage onsite inventory of returned parts with Failure Analysis team</li><li>Disposition returned parts based on guidance from the engineering group.</li><li>Work closely with the team to ensure data integrity and accuracy of RMAs for internal analytics purposes</li></ul>Desired Skills:<ul><li>Self-driven and proactive, with a focus on identifying and improving process inefficiencies.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple engineering teams at Lunar.</li><li>Physically able to lift and transport items weighing up to 25 kg</li><li>Technical or engineering background preferred (e.g. associate degree in an engineering or technical discipline).</li><li>Experience with electrical testing instruments such as digital multimeters (DMMs), oscilloscopes…etc is a big plus</li><li>Experience with diagnosing PCBA failures is a big plus </li><li>Experience with JIRA, Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets is a bonus </li></ul>Benefits:We’re dedicated to creating a remarkable employee experience.
