As Director of IT, you’ll lead our IT strategy and operations across delivery depots, engineering labs, and corporate offices. This role balances strategy and execution - scaling systems for rapid growth while ensuring reliability, compliance, and great user experience.<h2>Responsibilities</h2>Strategic Leadership<ul style=""><li>Define and execute the IT roadmap aligned with Serve’s growth, expansion, and R&amp;D goals.</li><li>Partner with engineering, operations, HR, finance, and facilities to ensure IT enables business and robotics innovation.</li><li>Lead IT planning for new markets, acquisitions, and major company initiatives.</li></ul>Infrastructure &amp; Systems<ul style=""><li>Oversee enterprise IT infrastructure, networks, and cloud services with a focus on uptime and scalability.</li><li>Implement collaboration, productivity, and ERP systems that support cross-functional teams.</li><li>Support IoT and edge-device deployments critical to robotics delivery operations.</li></ul>Security &amp; Compliance<ul style=""><li>Partner with security leaders to drive identity management, endpoint protection, and incident response.</li><li>Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, CCPA, and related requirements.</li></ul>Team &amp; Vendor Leadership<ul style=""><li>Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing IT team.</li><li>Manage IT budgets, procurement, vendor contracts, and partner relationships.</li></ul>Support &amp; Operations<ul style=""><li>Establish SLAs for IT support across offices, labs, and depots.</li><li>Drive continuous improvement in helpdesk and IT services to maximize productivity.</li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2><ul style=""><li>10+ years in IT infrastructure and operations, with 5+ years in leadership.</li><li>Proven experience managing enterprise IT environments in high-growth, tech-driven companies.</li><li>Experience managing live operations across multiple time zones and supporting rapid operational expansion.</li><li>Deep expertise in networking, cloud platforms, identity management, and enterprise systems.</li><li>Track record of hiring and scaling IT teams and infrastructure.</li><li>Excellent communication, leadership and vendor management skills.</li></ul><h2>What Makes you Stand Out </h2><ul style=""><li>Experience with IoT deployments (smart devices at the edge) highly desired.œ</li><li>CCNA, CISSP or equivalent prior networking experience.</li><li>Exposure to robotics, logistics, or other live operations environments.</li><li>Background in budget ownership and supporting M&amp;A activities.</li></ul>
