You will play a crucial role in the successful development and implementation of our vision for sustainable agriculture. Our vision is to completely replace soy and fishmeal with insects as a regional and sustainable feed alternative. Sales are conducted through video calls/phone calls, site visits to our facilities, and on-site customer visits. Your main tasks will include the sale of facilities (sales value between €500,000 - €1,000,000), including technical consulting. Our customers typically include farmers, fish farmers, and recycling companies. FarmInsect offers farmers a solution to use regional organic residues to produce insect larvae. The insect larvae can then be fed to the farm animals as protein feed instead of imported soy or fishmeal. FarmInsect provides a machine and IoT system that enables the automated production of insects alongside a continuous supply with young larvae for fattening. This enables a circular economy where farmers can reduce up to 30 % of their costs, increase animal health and save over 50 % of CO2 emissions.
