You will be collaborating with our employees, auditors, and (most importantly!) customers, to ensure Saildrone meets the security needs of their missions and can prove it. Responsibilities<ul><li>Analyzing compliance standards and performing gap analyses to determine feasibility and applicability</li><li>Translating security controls into concrete requirements for relevant teams across the company</li><li>Managing the audit process, from auditor selection to interviews to report response</li><li>Continuous monitoring of internal controls to ensure we meet our obligations every day, not just once a year</li><li>Defining compliance strategies that maximize impact and reduce busywork</li></ul> Required Skills and Experience<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as information security, computer science, or accounting; or equivalent experience</li><li>Eight or more years of progressive, applicable experience</li><li>Facility with basic scripting to automate evidence gathering and reporting</li><li>Familiarity with cloud providers and their security models, especially Amazon Web Services</li><li>Previous successful audits for ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, or similarly complex standards</li><li>Excellent written and spoken English, for communicating with internal and external stakeholders</li></ul> Desired Skills and Experience<ul><li>PCI-DSS QSA, CMMC Certified Assessor, or similar auditor certification</li><li>Building unified controls programs to cover multiple compliance standards</li><li>Previous successful audits for FedRAMP or DoD Cloud SRG</li></ul> Physical Requirements<ul><li> Regular use of a computer while sitting or standing at a desk for extended periods of time.</li><li>Travel up to 10%</li><li>This position is subject to provisions of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and/or the Export Administration Regulations, which may require individuals who are U.S. citizens, U.S. Permanent Residents, asylees, or refugees, or who have the ability to qualify for an export license. </li></ul> Location: This position is in Alameda, CA.
