We are seeking an experienced and motivated Application Management Manager to lead our dedicated Application Management team. This critical role involves overseeing the maintenance, support, performance, and lifecycle management of our core business applications. You will ensure our application portfolio is stable, secure, efficient, and aligned with business objectives, while leading and developing a team of skilled application specialists.  Role and ResponsibilitiesAs the Application Management Manager, you will oversee the overall operations, and performance of the application management team. Your primary objective is to ensure that the Centers of Excellence (CoEs) for all enterprise applications operate effectively, adhering to best practices, governance, and business needs. You will work closely with stakeholders across IT and the business to develop and maintain an efficient application management framework, ensuring security, compliance, and operational excellence. You will also support the development of the strategy for application management.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Strategic Leadership &amp; Governance:<ul><li>Assist in defining the strategy for SaaS application management with senior IT leadership.</li><li>Ensure application management aligns with IT governance policies, compliance requirements, and business objectives.</li><li>Develop and enforce standardized workflows, policies, and best practices for managing enterprise applications.</li></ul></li><li>Operational Oversight:<ul><li>Lead and manage the Application and Endpoint  Management Team.</li><li>Ensure the effective operation of all Centers of Excellence, establishing and maintaining appropriate KPIs and SLAs.</li><li>Oversee the full lifecycle of business applications, from deployment and maintenance to decommissioning.</li><li>Monitor application performance, security, and compliance through regular audits and optimizations.</li><li>Establish a robust system of records for business applications, ensuring accurate documentation and asset management.</li></ul></li><li>Process &amp; Efficiency Improvements:<ul><li>Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency of application management.</li><li>Identify and implement automation opportunities with relevant teams to streamline processes, reduce manual workload, and improve response times.</li><li>Collaborate with the Enterprise Architecture team to evaluate, validate, and integrate new business applications.</li><li>Work closely with cross-functional teams to support application installations, updates, and maintenance.</li></ul></li><li>Reporting &amp; Metrics:<ul><li>Define and monitor key operational metrics to track performance, incidents, and service levels.</li><li>Provide regular reports on application management KPIs, SLAs, and improvements to senior IT leadership.</li><li>Use data-driven insights to adjust processes and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the team.</li></ul></li><li>Team Leadership &amp; Development:<ul><li>Manage, mentor, and develop your team members, ensuring their professional growth and career progression.</li><li>Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the team.</li><li>Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.</li><li>Define skill development plans to ensure the team stays updated with the latest application management trends and technologies.</li></ul></li></ul>
