This role involves carrying out intrusive and non-intrusive surveys, primarily on roads, to provide accurate data that underpins project design, construction, and maintenance.This position is ideal for a detail-oriented and safety-conscious professional who thrives in a hands-on, field-based environment.Here’s what you’ll do:<ul><li>Conduct accurate and detailed intrusive and non-intrusive surveys on roads and other infrastructure assets.</li><li>Ensure all survey data is collected, recorded, and reported in line with project specifications and industry standards.</li><li>Operate, maintain, and calibrate survey equipment to ensure optimal performance and data accuracy.</li><li>Drive to and from survey locations, ensuring timely, efficient, and safe travel.</li><li>Tow trailers and transport equipment in compliance with all legal and safety requirements.</li><li>Adhere strictly to health and safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE and compliance with site-specific protocols.</li><li>Collect survey data using handheld or tablet-based devices, including GPS-enabled asset data capture tools.</li><li>Work collaboratively with project and engineering teams to ensure survey outputs meet project objectives.</li><li>Be available to work away from home for extended periods and undertake night shifts as required to accommodate project schedules and minimize disruption to road users.</li></ul>Work Environment<ul><li>Primarily site-based, involving outdoor work in varied weather conditions.</li><li>Requires regular travel and periods working away from home.</li><li>Includes night and weekend shifts to meet project delivery timelines.</li></ul>Come grow with us.And let's not forget about the perks at AECOM.
