Candidate must be well organized, be able to work independently or part of a collaborative team and quickly recognize issues and be part of the solution.As Senior Structural Engineer, you will be expected to:<ul><li>Be self-motivated with strong work ethic and take pride in your work</li><li>Complete Structural designs for multiple types of projects varying in size and delivery method</li><li>Make major design recommendations and design decisions in a collaborative multidiscipline team environment.</li><li>Plan design work, and time schedules to assign design duties to junior staff working on projects</li><li>Proactively coordinate design and schedule with other disciplines such as architectural, mechanical, electrical, geotechnical and technology</li><li>Maintain accurate, clear and concise project documentation and design data.</li><li>Mentor more junior staff through project work, reviewing their tasks and ensuring quality.</li><li>Occasionally meet with clients, prepares proposals and presentations while maintaining good client relations</li><li>Assist in project checking for quality control on other projects</li><li>Have thorough knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of technical plans and drawings</li><li>Use 3D structural analysis software to evaluate buildings for gravity and lateral loads.</li><li>Represent the organization and maintains liaison with individuals and related organizations</li></ul>
