At our Denver North Carolina facility, we are seeking a qualified 2nd shift Machine Operator who can work at our Braze Furnace and can follow specific work instructions. In exchange for your hard work, you will be compensated with a competitive wage. Position SummaryPrepare, straighten and braze cores for the welding department using parts listed on the BOM or assembly drawings. Essential Duties and Responsibilities<ul><li>Learn &amp; understand the HYDAC Quality Policy and Quality Objective and how they are related to this position</li><li>Learn and understand quality management system documents, work instructions, forms, &amp; production work orders</li><li>Perform work per written &amp; verbal instructions</li><li>Complete necessary documentation to include required data with signature or initials</li><li>Perform quality inspections on core assembly before loading into braze furnace.</li><li>Load baskets and enter recipe for furnace.</li><li>Unload baskets, straighten per specification</li><li>Enter SAP confirmation and send to weld prep workstation.</li><li>Perform all maintenance as required.</li><li>Perform Datapaq tests as required.</li></ul>Skills and Attributes<ul><li>Very High Skill set ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.</li><li>Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.</li><li>Communicate in English through both verbal and written means to exchange accurate information and understand the information</li><li>Perform basic problem-solving tasks which include to identify the problem &amp; communicate verbally &amp; in writing what is the problem and the events prior to the problem</li><li>Be a team player who is dependable, corporative, adaptive, &amp; engaging</li><li>Perform basic math to include counting, simple arithmetic with whole numbers or decimals, interpreting simple numerical information such as ranges &amp; understanding of basic units of measure including the metric system</li><li>Frequently move parts weighing up to 25 pounds between locations ranging from floor level to a height of 4.5 feet</li></ul>Education and Experience  High School Diploma or GED.   Previous manufacturing environment experience preferred, and previous Furnace experience   would be a plus.   Safety and Personal Protective Equipment<ul><li>Must adhere to all safety rules in force for the location you are in while performing your job responsibilities. This includes at a customer or supplier location.</li><li>Must meet requirements for PPE in specific manufacturing areas when you are in those areas including safety shoes and safety glasses.</li></ul>
