They will also be responsible for developing and purchasing new equipment to assist in new processes. Additionally, they will review, evaluate, and oversee Manufacturing Engineering projects and ensure the team responds to MRBs cases with the utmost urgency. This person is a team player and can work cross-functionally with many departments at all levels of the business.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: <ul><li>Maintain a safe working environment.</li><li>Ensure production readiness of all orders delivered to the production floor.</li><li>Work with vendors, suppliers, and contractors.</li><li>Work as cross-functional team member.</li><li>Lead cross functional teams.</li><li>Develop, refine, and document testing processes.</li><li>Develop, refine, and document manufacturing processes.</li><li>Provide continuous improvement on products &amp; processes (using Lean and 6-sigma techniques).</li><li>Design and develop fixtures for assembly and test.</li><li>Perform failure analysis and problems solving to determine root cause.</li><li>Implement corrective actions to eliminate root cause failures.</li><li>Identify and implement tools to increase product thorough put and lower cost.</li><li>Perform other duties as required by the business.</li></ul>Education and Experience:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in engineering  </li><li>Minimum 3 years related manufacturing experience</li><li>Management experience required</li></ul>Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:<ul><li>Ability to lead teams</li><li>Excellent Coaching skills – ability to transfer knowledge to engineers, assembly and test technicians</li><li>Excellent verbal &amp; written communication skills</li><li>Working knowledge of CAD and 3-D solid modeling</li><li>Excellent Understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts</li><li>Working knowledge of MSOffice programs, i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook</li><li>Program and Project management experience</li></ul>Due to the type of work at the facility and certain access restrictions, successful applicants must be a "US Person" (US Citizens, US Nationals, lawful permanent residents, asylees or refugees).************************What can Teledyne offer YOU?
