Including decommissioning and civil work for new fibre and copper cables or diversions.</li><li>Requesting and reviewing Change Controls for project works.</li><li>Validating End-Of-Job documentation.</li></ul>What you’ll bring<ul><li>Project management within telecom environments</li><li>IP networking including LAN, WAN and firewall configuration</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Visio and Project</li><li>Operational experience with telecom networks and technologies including fibre, copper, microwave radio, and cellular (public/private)</li><li>Familiar with MPLS-IP, MPLS-TP, PDH, SDH and IP telephony</li><li>Knowledge of network synchronisation methods (SyncE, ToD, NTP, Phase)</li><li>Understanding of telecom power systems including -48v DC, batteries and UPS</li><li>Awareness of SP Energy Networks health &amp; safety standards</li><li>Strong presentation and stakeholder engagement skills</li><li>Proactive and solution-focused, able to work under pressure and deliver viable designs</li><li>Quick to learn and adapt to new technologies and platforms</li></ul>As a minimum, you will demonstrate:<ul><li>Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Telecommunications Engineering, or equivalent experience.</li><li>Experience in project management and operational telecom networks.</li><li>Knowledge of IP networking, telecom protocols (MPLS, PDH, SDH), and telecom technologies (fibre, copper, microwave, cellular).</li><li>Skills in Microsoft Office, Visio, and Project; strong documentation and stakeholder communication.</li><li>Understanding of telecom power systems (-48v DC, UPS) and design frameworks (eTOM, ITIL).</li></ul>What’s in it for you As well as a competitive salary which is reviewed annually, you can also enjoy a number of other benefits.
