Job Title: Lead Analyst – Regulatory AccountingLocation: Boston, MA (High Street)Work type: OfficeThe salary range for this position is dependent upon experience, ranging from $98,786 to $123,482.Job Summary Leads the support of accounting for regulatory assets, liabilities, electric and gas commodity, transmission and distribution revenue transactions including monitoring changes to accounting and rate-making regulations as mandated by the federal and state regulatory commissions.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Review and/or prepare complex specialized calculations supporting revenue and regulatory asset and liability accounting transactions and process such transactions.</li><li>Review and/or draft summaries of commission decisions, identifying the financial impacts and implementation requirements.</li><li>Assist the utility operating companies in responding to data requests, preparing regulatory filings, including tariff filings as necessary.</li><li>Participates in the month-end closing process.</li><li>Provides data and analysis for internal and external financial requirements/requests in a timely manner, including regulatory support.</li><li>Obtain in-depth working knowledge of the Company’s financial data and knowledge of the business.</li><li>Work collaboratively with others assuming informal and formal leadership roles as needed in order to share understanding and build consensus. Lead effort in achieving team and departmental goals.</li><li>Manage projects or teams, including coordination of resources outside of own area.</li></ul>Required Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor's degree required in a related analytic discipline including but not limited to Accounting, Finance or Economics and at least 8 years of related work experience.
