The team continuously evolves its architecture toward modern practices such as Event-Driven Architecture.We value curiosity, teamwork, and craftsmanship, and we follow agile principles to deliver robust and maintainable software.What will you do in this role?<ul><li>Contribute to the design, development, and support of backend capabilities and APIs, following best industry practices.</li><li>Participate in planning, estimation, and delivery within an agile team environment (e.g., Kanban or Scrum).</li><li>Collaborate with product managers, customers, and other engineering teams to understand business needs and deliver valuable solutions.</li><li>Participate in maintaining our services in production, ensuring reliability and performance.</li><li>Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, and actively take part in code reviews and continuous improvement.</li><li>Follow and apply security and quality best practices.</li></ul>RequirementsWhat will you need to be successful in this role?<ul><li>4+ years of experience in similar roles.</li><li>Solid experience in backend software development, preferably in Go or a similar language.</li><li>Practical experience building and maintaining APIs used in production.</li><li>Familiarity with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).</li><li>Understanding of cloud environments (e.g., AWS) and infrastructure-as-code principles (e.g., Terraform).</li><li>Some experience or interest in monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Datadog, OpenTelemetry).</li><li>A collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn.</li><li>Passion for writing clean, tested, and reliable code.</li></ul>Our Commitment To YouWhen you apply to a role at ICEYE, we commit to responding to your initial application within 5 working days, if not sooner.
