This role is based in our facility in Lynchburg, Virginia, and reports to the Shipping/Receiving Supervisor. The hours for this role are Monday - Friday from 8am until 5pm. The starting rate will be $21.71/hour.<h2>Job Summary </h2>We are seeking an upbeat individual who will be responsible to provide manufacturing support in our Shipping Department! The primary tasks are to accurately and efficiently pull, process and complete customer orders to achieve operational objectives. Principal Responsibilities<ul><li>Accurately pull customer orders and process for shipment.</li><li>Correctly identify and count products.</li><li>Package and process parcel, LTL and truckload orders through AIMS and shipping systems.</li><li>Direct workflows to meet shipping schedules.</li><li>Ability to follow timelines and schedules.</li><li>Ability to work as and contribute to being a team</li><li>Safely operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, order selectors, reach trucks and pallet jacks.</li><li>Receiving: Verify received quantities, label inbound product, package for stock, etc.</li><li>Maintain a safe and clean work environment while adhering to all safety policies and procedures.</li><li>Must be eager to learn as well as have good written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Other duties as the need arises and/or assigned.</li></ul><h2>Qualifications &amp; Experience</h2><ul><li>Must be 18 years of age or older.</li><li>High School diploma or equivalent.</li></ul><h2>Work Environment </h2><ul><li><h2>Work at heights of up to 16 feet on ladders or platform trucks</h2></li><li><h2>Incumbent will perform job responsibilities safely in a manufacturing environment.</h2></li><li><h2>Requires good mobility and involves considerable routine walking, standing for long periods, bending, stooping, and lifting (to a maximum of 80 lbs).</h2></li></ul><h2></h2><h2>Benefits </h2><ul><li>401K plan with company match</li><li>Comprehensive Health, Dental, and Vision coverage options</li><li>Vacation and holidays</li><li>Set schedule with bi-weekly pay</li><li>Basic safety equipment (i.e. safety glasses, ear plugs) will be provided</li><li>Reimburse COBRA costs while transitioning to IPEX benefits</li></ul>IPEX is committed to providing accommodations for people with disabilities throughout the recruitment process and, upon request, will work with qualified job applicants to provide suitable accommodation in a manner that takes into account the applicant’s accessibility needs due to disability.
