What you will doYou will be the primary technical expert on the shift and be the source for troubleshooting expertise.   How you will do it<ul><li>Develop and improve the consistency of injection molding machines and processes.</li><li>Ensure molding machines and supporting systems are set to correct parameters and meeting production goals.</li><li>Evaluate causes of process variation and identify probable causes; interact with process engineering and production supervision as necessary to confirm causes and identify the appropriate corrective actions to resolve unacceptable quality conditions.</li><li>Verify process parameters and implement changes, as appropriate, to improve cycle times.</li><li>Troubleshoot processing problems including normal adjustments and checks.</li><li>Ensure job start-ups run correctly, making any necessary adjustments.</li><li>Train, coach, and monitor machine operators to ensure they are following procedures and they are minimizing scrap and downtime.</li><li>May assist Manufacturing Supervisor in all areas of daily operations of the department and may substitute for the Manufacturing Supervisor in his/her absence. </li></ul>​​What we look forRequired<ul><li>Minimum 2 years of injection molding experience is required.</li></ul>Preferred<ul><li>Minimum 2 year technical degree (preferred will substitute education for experience).</li></ul>What we do hereOur Florence, Kentucky components plant began operations in 1978 and here is home to our components plant which manufactures PowerFrame® grids and our battery containers and covers.
