The ideal candidate will be a team player with a solid foundation in accounting and possesses strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and will have a daily, ongoing impact on financial transactions. </span></div><br><br><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Responsible for processing vendor invoices and ensure that the company's financial obligations are met efficiently. </li><li>Will assist data entry, validation, and processing of various types of invoices like general expenses and subcontractors</li><li>Participate in the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, including account reconciliations and journal entries.</li><li>Assist in financial statement audits by providing necessary information and documentation related to payables.</li><li>Monitor cash balances and initiate intercompany cash transfers</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>2-3 years of accounting and/or audit experience required, preferably with a focus on manufacturing and retail companies.</li><li>Knowledge of US GAAP standards.</li><li>Experience working in highly cross-functional environments and demonstrated success working collaboratively across teams.</li><li>Proficient with accounting software (NetSuite, as well as Microsoft Office) and excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues and respond to requests efficiently and effectively.</li><li>Detail-oriented and data-driven, with the ability to handle and reconcile high volumes of customer data and strong problem-solving skills, with a drive to implement change.</li></ul><br><div>Diamond Foundry believes in supporting our employees from the workplace to their personal and home life.
