You will cover from clean sheet of paper through virtual development, testing/sign-off and manufacturing launch for Scout all-electric pick-up and rugged SUVs.</li><li>Work with Purchasing and Finance counterparts to develop technical specifications in support of the quoting and sourcing process for harnesses and components under your control.</li><li>Work with Cariad, key VW Group module owners, and suppliers to define and release all LV wire harnesses under your control.</li><li>Be part of a diverse team fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture, promoting continuous learning and professional development among team members.</li><li>Perform virtual and physical verification testing, including field testing.</li><li>Ensure designs conform to safety standards and U.S. government regulations.</li><li>Proactively stay attuned to consumer experience and propose system improvements accordingly.</li><li>Contribute to the design of production facilities for Scout trucks &amp; SUVs.</li><li>Manage supplier resources efficiently to deliver wire harness designs that meet cost, timing, and quality targets.</li></ul>Location &amp; Travel Expectations:<ul><li>This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Novi, Michigan.</li><li>The responsibilities of this role require attendance in office with in-person meetings and events regularly. </li><li>Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.</li></ul>What you’ll bring We expect all Scout employees to have integrity, curiosity, resourcefulness, and strive to exhibit a positive attitude, as well as a growth mindset.
