Lime’s Tax Team is hiring an Indirect Tax Manager! Reporting to the Global Head of Tax, you will learn about the micro-mobility industry while building cross-functional relationships to help improve tax processes, as we continue to grow and scale our operations.The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring global tax compliance while evangelizing automation and process improvements within the Finance organization. You will work across multiple jurisdictions on various tax aspects, utilizing technology tools to streamline efficiency and accuracy. This is a great role to learn and grow alongside brilliant minds, and shape the future of transportation.What You’ll Do:<ul style=""><li>Manage the preparation and review of global indirect tax filings across North America, LATAM, and APAC, encompassing sales and use tax, VAT, GST, and other related taxes.</li><li>Oversee preparation and review of annual US property tax, 1099, and business tax filings.</li><li>Utilize Alteryx and other automation tools to generate tax workpapers, and ensure tax and financial statement reporting are aligned.</li><li>Manage external tax audits and reverse audits.</li><li>Research and interpret complex tax issues to improve internal tax processes, and communicate issues and solutions to non-tax stakeholders.</li><li>Spearhead new market and product launches and liaise with cross-functional partners for products impacting tax workstreams.</li><li>Enable technology adoption across the Finance organization, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to launch process improvements.</li></ul>About You:<ul style=""><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.</li><li>Minimum 6 years of experience in a complex global environment, with a strong emphasis on U.S. sales and use tax, VAT, GST, and other indirect taxes.</li><li>Public accounting experience preferred.</li><li>Beginner or intermediate level Alteryx knowledge required.</li><li>Thorough knowledge of global tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.</li><li>Experience with ERP systems (preferably Netsuite) and tax engines (preferably Vertex) is a plus.</li><li>Ability to lead multiple projects and assignments with a high degree of autonomy.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to break down complex tax concepts.</li></ul>#LI-Remote#LI-SE1If you want to make an impact, Lime is the place for you.
