The Horizon Lab programme also manages EIT Urban Mobility's participation in Horizon Europe and other European open innovation projects.  The Innovation Exploitation Officer will report to the Innovation Exploitation Manager for day-to-day line management. S/he will focus primarily on the proposal development and delivery of externally awarded projects, mainly under the programmes Horizon Europe and Digital Europe, focusing on exploitation activities. As EIT Urban Mobility continues to attract external funding, the team ensures all contractual obligations of awards are met with quality content on time and on budget.   The position is for an experienced professional with understanding and knowledge of exploitation of research and innovation results, focusing on business and go-to market activities.  Main tasks and responsibilities include:  <ul><li>Conduct market assessment and gap analysis to identify commercialisation opportunities for R&amp;D products. </li></ul><ul><li>Define financial models and innovative business models in R&amp;D projects, including revenue forecasts, costs structures, profitability and ROI. </li></ul><ul><li>Develop business plans and commercialisation strategies for R&amp;D products  </li></ul><ul><li>Perform cost-benefit, cost-effective and multicriteria analysis </li></ul><ul><li>Manage deliverables, milestones and reporting </li></ul><ul><li>Presentation skills and workshop facilitation skills </li></ul><ul><li>Relationship building and networking skills </li></ul><ul><li>Preparation of proposals under Horizon Europe. </li></ul>  What you will bring along the way: An ideal candidate will strive to generate positive environmental and social impact in line with EIT Urban Mobility’s mission.  Must-have: <ul><li>A Master's Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or similar Masters/PhD </li></ul><ul><li>Written and spoken English (C1) </li></ul><ul><li>At least 5 years of working experience. </li></ul><ul><li>At least 2 years of professional experience in the development of business models, business plans and commercialisation strategies, including competitor analysis, business model definition ensuring product-market fit, etc. </li></ul><ul><li>Experience managing intellectual property rights (IPR), including protection strategies, licensing opportunities, and technology transfer activities. </li></ul><ul><li>Professional experience implementing EU-funded projects (mainly Horizon Europe and Digital Europe) and experience with EU funding mechanisms and schemes. </li></ul><ul><li>Experience working in a multi-national multi-cultural environment. </li></ul><ul><li>Work to timelines and financial reporting. </li></ul><ul><li>Versatile in teamwork on all organisational levels and experience from working in a matrix-type organisation. </li></ul><ul><li>Facilitation and advocacy skills.
