Our dedicated team is committed to making solar energy accessible and affordable for homeowners across the country.</p><p>We are currently seeking Electricians to install, maintain, and repair electrical power, communications, lighting, and control systems for various projects in the solar installation process.</p><p><strong>Duties/Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Complete projects within established policies and procedures</li><li>Complete projects within time frames and budgets</li><li>Maintain high levels of quality assurance and quality control with an emphasis on crew safety</li><li>Assemble the solar array racking, properly seal all roof penetrations, and install all relative equipment</li><li>MSP Rebuilds &amp; Upgrades</li><li>Responsible for the groundwork of a solar installation which includes the connection to the MSP</li><li>Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions and operational issues</li><li>Communicate with customers in a professional, and respectful manner, answering all questions and complaints to the best of your ability</li><li>Document proper paperwork for each job completed</li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned</li></ul><p><strong>Required Skills/Abilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to read blueprints</li><li>Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring</li><li>Ability to use hand tools and power tools</li><li>Proficient in the use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment</li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills</li></ul><p><strong>Education and Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>A high school diploma or equivalent is required</li><li>Solar or relevant experience is preferred</li></ul><p>Licensed - Completion of a formal apprenticeship and proof of valid electrician's license required</p><p>Unlicensed - Must be enrolled in a trade apprenticeship</p><p><strong>Driving Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Must be at least 21 years old</li><li>Must have a clean driving record as determined by a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring.</li><li>Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding.</li><li>Must be able to work at great heights.</li><li>Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.</li><li>Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.</li></ul><p><strong>Work Environment:</strong></p><ul><li>PV installation is done outdoors.
