Our dedicated team is committed to making solar energy accessible and affordable for homeowners across the country.We are in search of a Warehouse Support Crew Member who will be responsible for maintaining the required inventory levels, ensuring that the orders are correct in terms of specifications, quantity, and quality, identifying any losses in stock, organizing the warehouse layout, loading and unloading orders, expediting, receiving, shipping, and warehousing all materials and supplies.Duties/Responsibilities:<ul><li>Conducts and participates in physical inventories to verify stock and identify losses.</li><li>Evaluates warehouse materials (e.g. qualified product list, warehouse supplies, office supplies, etc.) to maintain quality.</li><li>Loads and unloads delivery trucks to receive stock and/or fill orders for transport.</li><li>Maintains physical and electronic documents, and files records (e.g. receipts, delivery logs, inventory, warehouse reports, material evaluation, etc.)</li><li>Operates warehouse equipment (e.g. company vehicles, pallet jacks, trailers, etc.)</li><li>Prepares reports to maintain accurate records for business service.</li><li>Provides quality customer service to maintain an effective and efficient work environment.</li><li>Receives stock and non-stock items to ensure specifications, quantity, and quality of orders are correct.</li><li>Analyze discrepancies on orders and/or invoices (e.g. overages, shortages, duplicate deliveries, etc.) to correct errors and/or return damaged/incorrect items to vendors.</li><li>Responds to inquiries of staff and vendors to provide information and/or direction regarding the invoices, billing, status of deliveries, etc.</li></ul>Required Skills/Abilities:<ul><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Strong supervisory and leadership skills.</li><li>Ability to anticipate and solve problems.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to meet deadlines.</li><li>Previous experience operating a forklift</li><li>Proficient with data entry and inventory software and systems.</li></ul>Education and Experience:<ul><li>A high school diploma or equivalent is required</li><li>Previous experience working with Inventory analysis</li><li>Solar or relevant experience is preferred</li><li>Must possess a valid Driver's License and be willing to submit to a Motorized Vehicle Report</li></ul>Driving Requirements:<ul><li>Must be at least 21 years old</li><li>Must have a clean driving record as determined by a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check</li></ul>Physical Requirements:<ul><li>Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders.</li><li>Ability to move around the warehouse.</li><li>Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.</li></ul>Compensation/Benefits:<ul><li>Competitive wages</li><li>Health/Vision/Dental insurance</li><li>401K</li><li>Paid time off and paid holidays</li><li>Paid birthday off</li></ul>ION Solar is an equal opportunity employer.
