We invite passionate individuals to join our team, dedicated to exceeding customer expectations through innovative and sustainable solutions.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Strategic Sourcing &amp; Supplier Management<ul><li>Identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers to support current and future business needs.</li><li>Develop and execute sourcing strategies that align with organizational goals, focusing on cost reduction, quality, and delivery performance.</li><li>Lead negotiations of supplier agreements, contracts, and pricing to ensure competitive terms.</li><li>Build strong relationships with key suppliers to foster collaboration and continuous improvement.</li></ul></li><li>Cost &amp; Value Optimization<ul><li>Analyze spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities and areas for supplier consolidation.</li><li>Support value engineering initiatives by collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams to optimize material selection and design-to-cost.</li><li>Drive initiatives to reduce total cost of ownership (TCO) without compromising quality or service.</li></ul></li><li>Risk Management &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Assess supplier risks (financial, capacity, geopolitical, environmental, etc.) and develop mitigation strategies.</li><li>Ensure supplier compliance with company policies, quality standards, regulatory requirements, and sustainability initiatives.</li><li>Monitor global market trends, commodity pricing, and industry developments to anticipate supply chain impacts.</li></ul></li><li>Cross-Functional Collaboration<ul><li>Partner with engineering, operations, category management and quality teams to align sourcing decisions with production requirements.</li><li>Support new product introductions (NPI) by sourcing critical components early in the design cycle.</li><li>Work with finance and leadership to track sourcing performance against cost and operational targets.</li></ul></li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Skills<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field (CPSM, CPIM, or related certifications an asset).</li><li>5-10 years of procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience.</li><li>Strong negotiation and contract management skills.</li><li>Excellent analytical abilities with proficiency in Excel, ERP systems (SAP), and data analysis tools.</li><li>Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and supplier development practices.</li><li>Strong communication, relationship management, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul>Key Competencies<ul><li>Strategic thinking and long-term planning mindset.</li><li>Results-driven with focus on cost savings, quality, and reliability.</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills to influence and collaborate across functions.</li><li>Resilience and adaptability in a dynamic supply chain environment.</li></ul>Join the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.
