Responsible for tracking MTBUR/MTBF metrics, conducting root cause investigations, performing reliability modeling of electronic equipment (FMEA, Fault Tree Analysis), and supporting corrective actions for fielded and new products.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Reliability Analysis &amp; Reporting:<ul><li>Track and assess product MTBUR and MTBF across global and airline-specific datasets.</li><li>Identify performance deviations and recommend corrective actions.</li><li>Prepare reliability reports and technical presentations for internal and external stakeholders.</li></ul></li><li>Failure Investigation &amp; Root Cause Analysis:<ul><li>Investigate field returns and document failed part conditions.</li><li>Coordinate with suppliers to analyze component-level failures and trends.</li><li>Use schematics, assembly drawings, and design documentation to support troubleshooting and test coverage improvements.</li></ul></li><li>Reliability Engineering for New Products:<ul><li>Develop reliability predictions using industry-standard models (e.g., MIL-HDBK-217).</li><li>Prepare detailed FMEA (functional and design-level), Fault Tree Analysis, and Safety Hazard Analysis based on electronic assembly parts lists.</li><li>Support reliability documentation for development programs and Entry-into-Service (EIS) planning.</li></ul></li><li>Corrective Action &amp; Quality Support:<ul><li>Prepare internal and external corrective action responses.</li><li>Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) investigations and dispositions.</li><li>Interface with cross-functional teams to assess failure severity and impact on production, repair, and fielded systems.</li><li>Propose and monitor implementation of product/process improvements.</li></ul></li><li>Supplier &amp; Device-Level Reliability:<ul><li>Collect and analyze failed devices; interface with distributors and manufacturers for resolution.</li><li>Review part-level specifications and failure modes to support root cause identification.</li></ul></li></ul>                               Education and/or Experience<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or university in Science, Technology, or an Engineering Discipline with a focus on digital electronic theory and practical circuit implementation.</li><li>AA Degree in an Electrical Engineering Discipline will be considered with appropriate professional experience of a minimum of five years.</li></ul>  Salary Range: $61,600.00-$82,100.000Pay TransparencyThe anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
