As a leading renewable energy developer, financier, trader and operator, Sol empowers entrepreneurs to have a meaningful impact on the world with a focus on catalyzing the development and operation of sustainable infrastructure.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Day-to-day accounts payable responsibilities, including:<ul><li>Creating and assigning invoices.</li><li>Supporting all accounts payable requests and inquiries.</li></ul></li><li>Day-to-day accounts receivable responsibilities including preparation of invoices</li><li>Vendor set-up and management, including 1099 compliance.</li><li>Record all cash transactions, both routine and complex daily.</li><li>Complete bank account reconciliations and other analyses to support our close, consolidation and external reporting requirements. </li><li>Prepare accrual and prepaid journal entries and reconcile related accounts based on the established calendar for our monthly, quarterly, or annual close.</li><li>Reconcile AP and AR Aging monthly.</li><li>Effectively manage relationships with vendors, customers, and other internal and external stakeholders.</li><li>Innovate to identify and create process efficiencies and optimize our use of available systems and technologies.</li><li>Support periodic special projects.</li><li>You will also have the chance to work in other areas that you or we identify as important for building the team and our business.</li></ul>A successful candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:<ul><li>Self-Starter, hands-on, with careful attention to detail</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting</li><li>0-2+ years related experience in bookkeeping and accounting</li><li>Strong Excel skills</li><li>Experience with ERP Accounting software, NetSuite preferred</li></ul>Location &amp; Hours: This position will be based in our Washington DC office. This position is full-time with a required 3 days a week in the office.Commitment &amp; Compensation:  The base salary for this role is between $55,000 and $70,000 annually, depending on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the position.
