Teamwork is at the heart of our operation, as mechanics work together to identify critical parts of our product lines that can be improved and ensure the safe working condition of our fleet.What you’ll do:<ul style=""><li>Onboard, train, and lead a team of Mechanics, Senior Mechanics, and Lead Mechanics while assigning daily tasks as needed and ensuring workflow is efficient and thorough</li><li>Maintain a team oriented environment and integrate new mechanics to the team</li><li>Evaluate and provide feedback to manager on team performance</li></ul><ul style=""><li>Ensure operational compliance of all vehicles and complete quality checks prior to departing the warehouse for deployment</li></ul><ul style=""><li>Perform repairs from basic maintenance to complex electronic part replacement</li><li>Follow established safety procedures to ensure Lime riders are on the safest vehicles</li><li>Ensure accurate documentation of completed quality checks for vehicles and parts</li><li>Manage battery operations such as inspection, rotation, check in/out, and more</li><li>Support inventory management and organization of tools, parts, and vehicles</li><li>May assist with any level of tire maintenance including changes, inflation, or assembly</li><li>Identify issues and perform small repairs on vehicles in field from brake adjustments to vehicle cleaning to ensure vehicles are in optimal working condition</li></ul><ul style=""><li>Maintain and abide by safety and hygiene standards within the warehouse</li><li>Maximize the number of operational vehicles by efficiently completing tasks assigned</li></ul><ul style=""><li>May be required to safely operate a push cart, pallet jack, and/or forklift to move vehicle inventory. Where applicable, forklift certification will be necessary.</li><li>Safely operate a van to assist with the deployment and retrieval of Lime electric vehicles within the local market as needed</li></ul><ul style=""><li>Act as a liaison to support Operations Management</li><li>Additional job related tasks as assigned</li></ul>About you:<ul style=""><li>Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver license and good driving record</li><li>2 years of experience in a similar industry; with the ability to train others preferred</li><li>An understanding of workforce management to help Ops Management ensure efficient staffing</li><li>Comfortable learning and adapting to new concepts and using new tools</li><li>Ability to use data to inform decision making; and understand KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to make an impact</li><li>Knowledge of cell phone applications. iOS experience preferred</li><li>Ability to lift up to 65lbs / 35 kg on a frequent basis</li><li>Ability to work various shifts including evenings and weekends</li><li>Experience safely operating a pallet jack or push cart. Where markets require the use of a forklift, Lime will coordinate a certification</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform quick and efficient repairs</li><li>Self-motivated with and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision</li><li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage daily tasks</li><li>A safety-oriented mindset, capable of conducting rigorous quality checks</li><li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with team members at all levels</li></ul>*Disclaimer: To ensure the safety of our drivers Dual-Facing AI Dash Cams that record the road and inside the cab have been installed in our vehicles.
