After a product is released, you will work with product quality specialists and customer service managers to improve the end-user experience through documentation and/or product design changes. You will work with the product management, engineering, marketing, training, and program management teams to ensure the flow of information among project workgroups during development and testing. </p><ul><li>Determine the needs of end users of technical documentation. End users will include certification agencies, PV system designers, EPC firms, PV system installers, test engineers, auditors, customer support agents, field applications engineers and system owners.</li><li>Study product samples and talk with product designers and developers to create quick install guides and any required operation and installation manuals</li><li>Provide feedback on products to make them easier to use and thus requiring need fewer instructions</li><li>Organize and write supporting documents for products</li><li>Release documents to the Enphase Document Management System (EDMS) to be included in product packaging at manufacture</li><li>Develop and use photographs, drawings, diagrams, animation, and charts that increase users’ understanding</li><li>Select appropriate medium for message or audience, such as manuals or online support articles or FAQs</li><li>Standardize content across platforms and media</li><li>Gather usability feedback from customers, designers, and manufacturers</li><li>Revise documents as new issues arise</li><li>Follow Enphase brand and style guidelines for consistent, predictable content creation</li></ul><p><strong>Who you are and what you bring</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in area of specialty or at least 2-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area</li><li>Strong preference for candidates with an understanding of electrical basics and solar industry experience</li><li>Experience as a technical publication’s writer/content developer</li><li>Expert with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe InDesign &amp; Illustrator, Oxygen XML</li><li>SharePoint development and usage skills</li><li>Edit the documents with proper grammar check, spell check and follow the editorial standards</li><li>Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills</li><li>Experience publishing to multiple platforms including print and web</li><li>Project management skills, tool familiarity, and extensive software skills are required</li><li>Ability to work with outside of vendors/contractors to bring projects to fruition</li><li>Ability to work in a team environment</li><li>Ability to understand and communicate concepts quickly and accurately</li><li>Accomplished presentation skills</li><li>Desire to continuously learn new features of development tools and software</li><li>High attention to detail</li><li>Ability to prioritize, schedule and meet deadlines</li><li>Work both independently and within a team</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic team</li></ul>
