We’re looking for talented, committed individuals to join our team as we push onward toward certifying the Joby aircraft, scaling our manufacturing, and launching our initial commercial service.<h2>Responsibilities</h2><ul> <li>Receive, reconcile, and properly route inbound parcel and freight shipments.</li> <li>Unpack and inspect items for defects or damage.</li> <li>Process purchase order receipts in the company ERP with accuracy and communicate discrepancies to Purchasing and Quality teams. </li> <li>Work closely with Inventory and Quality Assurance teams to efficiently move controlled inventory to the warehouse. </li> <li>Utilize dock and warehouse inventory control labels, tags and cones to properly identify routing status. </li> <li>Work closely with the planning team to ensure expedited parts are processed to meet build schedule.</li> <li>Ensure all receiving is completed by EOM.</li> <li>Complete scheduled cycle counts of controlled inventory. </li> <li>Interact daily with employees from a variety of departments adhering to high customer service standards. </li> <li>Advise and guide other receiving associates on industry best practices.</li> <li>Contribute to team cross-training.</li> <li>Maintain a clean and organized receiving area, adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.</li></ul><h2>Required</h2><ul> <li>Proficient experience using computers for data entry</li> <li>Strict attention to detail is required</li> <li>3-5 years shipping/receiving experience</li> <li>High level of proven problem solving skills</li> <li>High school diploma or GED equivalent</li> <li>Ability to be forklift certified</li> <li>Collaborative work ethic</li> <li>History of developing strong relationships across multiple departments</li></ul><h2>Desired</h2><ul> <li>  <ul>   <li>Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field is preferred</li>   <li>Physical strength and stamina, enough to lift 50 pounds occasionally</li>   <li>Strong understanding of the full Supply Chain Model and how it affects other aspects of the business</li>   <li>Experience with ERP/Inventory management software tools</li>   <li>Basic business office skills</li>   <li>Career stability and dedication, demonstrated by multiple-year service to previous employers</li>   <li>Knowledge of and adherence to strict safety protocols</li>  </ul></li></ul><p> </p><p>Compensation at Joby is a combination of base pay and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
