Because of our field-proven leadership in supporting mission-critical applications, we are the preferred supplier for prime contractors worldwide.Job Outline:An Operator in the Machine Shop you will be responsible for lacquering or painting machined parts and attention to detail is key.Key Responsibilities:The main duties with these positions will include:<ul><li>To provide quality work standards</li><li>Involvement in process improvement</li><li>To support the team in achieving customer requirements</li></ul>Personal Specification:Candidates should demonstrate a good level of education (at least a grade C or above in Maths and English O Level/GCSE or equivalent), mechanical aptitude and an appreciation of mechanical principles, but above all the willingness to learn.  Candidates should be flexible and keen to learn new processes and procedures with a positive attitude and ‘can do’ approach.This role would particularly suit candidates who have experience of using small equipment, with intricate parts such as small scale model kits, embroidery, nail art, pc/laptop hardware, mobile phone rebuild etc.Flexibility of working hours may be required, along with availability to work overtime to meet business needs.The successful candidates would ideally have experience of assembly processes and techniques.
