Provides management with accurate information in the areas of cost, budgets, payroll, and forecasting in an efficient manner. At this level, tasks and assignments tend to be simple, straight-forward in nature and duties are performed under close supervision.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.<ul><li>Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions.</li><li>Distributes expenditures, encumbrances, receipts, and receivables according to schedules.</li><li>Provides record of assets, liabilities, and other financial transactions.</li><li>Prepares balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize and interpret current and projected company financial position for managers.</li><li>Monitors compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures.</li><li>Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.</li><li>Collects appropriate data and prepares federal, state and local reports and tax returns.</li><li>Serves as back-up for other accounting duties.</li><li>Supports the preparation of year-end audit files and analysis.</li><li>Daily availability to include evenings and weekends when =necessary to reach goals and deadlines.</li></ul>Education and/or Experience                                                   Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in relevant field of study and 0-2 years of directly related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with Deltek Costpoint and Works preferred.#TBE  Teledyne and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
